The 7 Promises of God

1. I will be with you.
2. I will protect you.
3. I will be your strength.
4. I will answer you.
5. I will provide for you.
6. I will give you peace.
7. I will always love you.

God is saying get ready I’m about to restore the years * Your latter days will be glorious than your former days * If you lost everything don’t lose your faith * God can do more in a moment than we can do in a entire life time.

But the Lord your God you shall fear, and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.

2 Kings 17:39.

We serve a God who protects us from all our enemies and gives us victory over every problem and challenges that we have and face. The above scripture portion tells us that if we fear the Lord, then He will deliver us from the hands of all our enemies.

Problems and challenges are universal, the people in the world have no hope and guarantee that they will come out of their problems and challenges, but we believers have hope and confidence in the God that we serve that He is well able and stable to deliver us from every problem, challenges and enemy. Enemies are also common in a believers life, the day we are born again and saved the devil becomes our greatest enemy ( it has got no other work ) it will try to wean us away from walking with God. Enemies have existed from the days of creation ( thanks to Adam and Eve they both together welcomed it ) and they will continue to exist till the end times when God will bind Satan in chains and throw it in hell, then the story of Satan and enemies will simply close after that forever and ever.

Abel offered offerings to God and Cain became his enemy and killed him. Moses said to Pharaoh let my people go and Pharoah became his enemy he followed Moses and the Israelites and got himself drowned under the waters of the Red Sea and Moses delivered the Israelites from bondage. Saul became the enemy of David, because the women in Israel sang and danced for David saying Saul had killed thousands but David had killed ten thousands ( small and silly reason ) Saul and his kingdom perished, but David became king of Israel. Job was a rich righteous man in the east he started walking with God and Satan took away all that he had, and his wife became his enemy, she said curse God and die ( no trace of her after that in the Bible ) but Job trusted in God and was blessed double for all his trouble. Esther and Mordecai were Godly people, but Haman stood against them and simply perished ( gone with the wind ) and both of them got elevated and promoted.

The Bible never said that there will be no problems and challenges when you walk with God, Jesus our savior said in John 16:33 in this world you will have trials and tribulations, but be of good cheer for I have overcome them. Jesus has overcome every problem and challenges that we have and face on the cross of Calvary and given us victory.

Jesus came into this world to redeem mankind from sin, sickness, poverty and death, when He was on this earth He went around healing the sick, delivering the demon possessed and raising the dead, but even though He was doing good to people around Him, people went against Him, His own disciple Judas the chief treasurer in His ministry became His enemy and he sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

The chief priests and the people turned against Jesus and asked for His crucifixion, but Jesus didn’t remain on the cross and in the grave, on the third day He rose again and from that day Satan is running nonstop with its left over life ( Satan’s head, brain and body is completely damaged it’s tail only is wagging a little bit ) and God put all things under the feet of Jesus and He rules and reigns forever and ever.

If you’ve got haters and enemies, you’ve got to be blessed. If somebody hates, persecutes and humiliates you for no rhyme and reason then you’re the most prime and potential person for God’s blessings that is why David who ran for his life for years from his enemy Saul wrote in

Psalm 23 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies ( without the enemies the table will be very very boring ), You anoint my head with oil and my cup overflows ( if you have haters and enemies, your cup of blessings has to overflow ).

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

Romans 16:20

The devil who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 20:10

Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for loving us first, give us the grace to love our enemies and to do good to those who hate and persecute us, give us the grace to tell our persecutors and enemies about the love, goodness, mercy, compassion and miracle working power of God and bring them to Christ in Jesus name we ask and pray.

The Promises of God

Men sometimes break their promises, sometimes they are unable to fulfil them. God never has gone, and never will go back on His Word (Hebrews 6:17-19). Forever His Word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89). “The scripture cannot be broken.”* God is abundantly able to fulfil all He has promised (Ephesians 3:20). He is the almighty God (Genesis 17:1). There is nothing too hard or impossible for Him to do (Jeremiah 32:27; Matthew 19:26). Jesus says, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”* God has given us many “exceeding great and precious promises: that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”*

I am satisfied many do not appreciate the promises of God as they ought. There are promises in the good old Bible that apply themselves to our every need. He has promised to “supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”* He has “given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.”* He “giveth us richly all things to enjoy.”* We need not be covetous; He “openeth [His] hand, and satisfieth the desire of every living thing.”* Praise and honor be to His name!

Joshua told ancient Israel, just before he was to leave them and take his departure from the world, “Ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls [not just in their heads or in theory], that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.”*

 A wonderful statement, is it not? They could not deny it. It was actually so. Solomon likewise says, “Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.”* 

We are constrained to say also that, of all the promises in the Book, there has not failed one of which we have laid hold upon and met the conditions. The promises are all conditional. God would have us do our part, which is to believe, obey, and trust. If we do, we will be able to set to our seal “that God is true.”*

God will not only fulfil His good promises unto us, but He will just as truly fulfil His promises of vengeance and retribution. “It is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation.”* “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”* Yea, God is not to be mocked (Galatians 6:7). If He has promised tribulation and retribution to His enemies and the rebellious, He will send it (Romans 2:1-11). He will by no means clear the guilty (Exodus 34:7; Numbers 14:18).

David says, “Thy rod [precepts] and thy staff [promises] they comfort me.”* Will His promise fail? (Psalm 77:8). Nay, verily. “All the promises of God in him [Christ] are yea.”* “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful; he cannot deny himself.”* “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”*

Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
