The FBI has opened an investigation into Cindy Yang, the owner of seedy massage parlors in Florida, for allegedly making an illegal donation to the Trump re-election campaign, a report said Thursday.
Federal investigators issued a subpoena on Thursday for Bing Bing Peranio, an employee of Yang who donated the maximum amount allowed to his re-election effort, The Miami Herald reported.
Yang allegedly coached Peranio’s on how to write the check for the donation of $5,400, Peranio told The New York Times.
FBI investigators are working to determine if Yang reimbursed Peranio for the contribution, which is illegal, according to the Herald report.
In a phone call with the newspaper, Peranio confirmed she had received the subpoena.
Yang made headlines after New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was busted at a Florida massage parlor she once owned.
She’s also been accused of selling access to President Trump, but has denied the allegations.
