Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez teased a “radical” policy proposal on Twitter Wednesday night, promising that she’d unveil the plan on Wednesday.
“New policy proposal dropping tomorrow with a special Senate co-lead,” the Bronx Democrat wrote.
“It’s radical, which I always love, and we’re keeping more coins in your pocket, which I also love,” she added.
The tease came a few hours after Ocasio-Cortez posted a tweet about climate change, an issue she’s made a hallmark of her freshman term in the House.
“Before we won, climate issues were ranked very low in nat’l voter priorities,” she wrote.
“Thanks to risk-taking activism, it’s now consistently ranked as a #1 or at least a top 3 issue for many voters. Leadership is often about choice: take the temperature, or change the thermostat,” she added.
