Prince Harry may be considering mending fences amid rumored UK home search: ‘Only got one family’

Prince Harry has started looking into finding a UK home after “suddenly” realizing that he’s only got one family, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is reportedly eyeing properties across the pond that he and his wife, Meghan Markle, could keep for visiting instead of having to check into hotels each time.

Since handing over the keys to Frogmore Cottage last year, the Sussexes have not had a permanent place to stay in London.

“It’s something that he’s wanted and been thinking about. Now he’s probably made the decision that’s what he wants,” King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold exclusively told The Post.

“Not having a home in the UK was probably a joint decision initially, but as time goes on, people’s views and decisions can change.”

“You’ve only got one family, and this means he’s suddenly realized that,” Harrold added.

Earlier this year, Harry sensationally renounced his British residency and claimed America as his home in new paperwork, in which he declared that his “new country/state” was the “United States.”

The move was backdated to June 29, 2023 — the same day he and the “Suits” alum, 42, officially vacated Frogmore Cottage, which left them with no UK residence in their names.

Experts have since speculated that the date listed is a blatant indicator that his estranged father’s decision to evict the pair had hurt him.

“I’ve always said that Harry will probably return to the UK — his family are here, his friends are here, this is where he grew up,” Harrold said on behalf of Spin Genie.

“It’s very big moving to another country and not having any connection to your old home,” he said, adding that it “makes sense” for the Sussexes to have a residence in the area.

Since leaving the UK, the couple have set up camp in Montecito, California, where they’ve snapped up a sprawling $14 million mansion in which they raise son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet.

Harry’s desire to find a UK home could also be because of his estranged father’s health woes.

Charles, 75, has been battling an undisclosed form of cancer since February, and is reportedly “aware” that the clock on his reign is “ticking.”

Harry’s strained relationship with the Firm has only intensified within the past few years. He and Markle were not invited to the Trooping the Colour festivities this weekend for the second year in a row, he and estranged brother Prince William reportedly do not speak, and the Sussexes learned of Kate Middleton’s own cancer battle when the future queen revealed the news in an emotional video.

“They had no idea, and only learned of the news around the same time the rest of the world found out,” an insider disclosed to The Post in March. “This goes to show the irreparable damage they have caused.”

The insider added: “The trust has been broken, and the royal family is OK distancing themselves from them.”
