Celtics fans chant ‘f–k Kyrie’ while wildly celebrating NBA championship in Boston streets

Celtics fans just couldn’t let it go with Kyrie Irving even after they vanquished him and the Mavericks in the NBA Finals to win a record 18th championship.

Irving, who played two tumultuous seasons in Boston, was gracious in defeat, shaking several Celtics players and coaches’ hands before leaving the game while being booed by the TD Garden faithful as Dallas fell 106-88 in Game 5 on Monday night.

He also waited for all of his Mavericks teammates to exit the court before doing so himself.

Irving had just 15 points on 5-for-16 shooting as his struggles in these Finals continued.

He is just 1-14 in games against the Celtics since leaving Boston.

The Boston faithful then took to the streets to celebrate the team’s first NBA championship in 16 years and multiple videos captured a large crowd of fans yelling, ‘F–k Kyrie!” while doing so.

One video showed fans celebrating on top of what appeared to be a police van as a group of people around led the chant for Irving.

Photos showed fans burning a Mavericks jersey, climbing trees, street light pools and a sign out side TD Garden as police patrolled in riot gear.
