Hallmark star Mamie Laverock, 20, hugs mom on ‘miracle birthday’ after being on life support

She’s on the road to recovery.

Hallmark star Mamie Laverock, 20, fell five stories from a balcony and was put on life support in May.

On Tuesday, Laverock’s mom, Nicole Compton, shared an update on Facebook, the day after Laverock turned 20, which her mom called a “miracle birthday.”

“Mamie moved onto her stomach, pushed herself up and held onto me … at that moment we realized we could have our first hug,” the post read.

“Thank you Rob for capturing this moment,” she said, referencing her husband Rob Compton.

Another post showed a photo of Laverock’s birthday cake, with a re-creation of the church from “When Calls the Heart.”

Further photos showed a rainbow balloon birthday display created by artist Evelyn Milanes. “My miracle birthday … somewhere over the rainbow,” the caption read.

In May, according to the GoFundMe campaign helmed by her family, after spending two weeks in “intensive treatment” in the hospital due to an unspecified medical emergency earlier in May, Laverock “was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.”

“She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support,” Laverock’s parents wrote.

“We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”

Before “When Calls the Heart,” Laverock made her debut in the 2012 rom-com “This Means War” starring Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. She also appeared in “A Series of Unfortunate Events.”

The Hallmark show “When Calls the Heart” (airing Sundays at 9 p.m.) is based on a series of books of the same name, and has aired since 2014. It centers around a teacher (Erin Krakow) working in a small coal mining town.

On “When Calls the Heart,” Laverock played Rosaleen Sullivan, a nursing student whose father was killed in a mining accident.

She appeared in nine episodes between 2014 and 2023.

The show’s star, Krakow, 39, took to Instagram asking her followers to donate to the fund. “I just donated,” she wrote with a broken heart emoji. “If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio.”

Johannah Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, also posted about Laverock on X (formerly Twitter), shortly after the news broke about Laverock on life support.

“I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can,” Newmarch, 52, wrote on May 27. “They need all the support they can get to make it through this.”

When The Post reached out to Hallmark Media for comment, they replied in a statement: “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our ‘When Calls the Heart’ community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort and many prayers during this difficult time.”

On June 26, Nicole shared further details of her daughter’s recovery on Laverock’s official Facebook page.

“Thank you for your healing messages for Mamie,” she wrote. “Mamie survived her injuries, however her road to recovery will be long. I will be setting up a mailbox for all of your cards and well wishes shortly.”
