Trump rally shooting live updates: Secret Service director reveals changes for Trump’s security detail ahead of RNC

Former President Donald Trump was shot in the ear in an assassination attempt at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday.
The shooter has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Bethel, Pa. and was described as a “loner.” He was killed on the scene by a Secret Service assault team.
Trump was treated for his wounds at a local hospital and spent the night at his property in Bedminster, NJ.
