1944-2024
Gary R. Mongeau passed away June 26 2024 at Nathan Adelson Hospice with his wife and son by his side. Born January 22 1944 to Robert and Antonette Mongeau. He is survived by his wife Betty Tudryn), son Matthew, granddaughter Madison, sister Roberta, nephew Beau, plus many extended family members and friends. Gary so appreciated the phone calls from his sister Roberta, cousins Terry and Kathy and granddaughter Madison. He could be heard having a good laugh during those calls. He also enjoyed a good cribbage game with Bob and the sincere caring and support of our neighbors who quickly became great friends. Gary was courageous and inspiring as he faced his health challenges without complaint. " Say not in grief that he is no more, live in the thankfulness that he was". In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Smith Voc/ Agricultural High School for the Donald J. Tudryn Scholarship fund in memory of
Gary R Mongeau, 80 Locust ST. Northampton, MA 01060 or to a charity of one's own choice. There are no services per Gary's request. Burial will be on July 25 2024, 10am at the Boulder City Veteran Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
