And I'll leave you with this:

Your Friday Evening Florida Report

A Florida man accused of killing his father with multiple gunshots outside his home before calling 911 and claiming the slaying was in self-defense is now facing a murder charge after video surveillance shattered his story, authorities said.

*****

I'm sorry, but anytime I step outside my own home and especially when I'm in town, I'm assuming I'm on somebody's camera, whether it's a dedicated security system, dash cam, ring doorbell or game cam.

Meanwhile, at 'Lake ShadowBay'.....

LONGWOOD, Fla. - People living in the ShadowBay neighborhood of Longwood say this week marked the third time the streets have flooded like this in just the past few weeks. One neighbor could wind up owing thousands of dollars because of it.

Those residents say this problem is entirely new and traceable to one neighbor.

US dog owners spend an average of $28,000 over the pet's lifetime, a new study suggests.

Between the cost of kibble, vet visits, dog walkers, daycare, and pet insurance, owning a pet in America has never been more expensive, according to a recent study by the MarketWatch.

Dog owners in California face the steepest premiums, spending $35,452 on a pup in its lifetime - more than the price of a Tesla Model 3 after taxes.

My total output for that asshole dog Jack's food is about 600-700 bucks a year, and that's including dogfood, treats and his rawhide bones.
His vet visits for his vaccinations are $77 a year and a year's supply of heartworm meds run me about 120 bucks.
That's it. Period. No pet insurance, no doggy day care and no damned dog walkers.

It's been a couple years since I've watched the video above so I can't remember if she does this song, but I honestly don't see how Warren Haynes can concentrate with Grace Potter wiggling around like that when they do Gold Dust Woman together.

Weekend at Doug's

Two Ohio ghouls have pleaded guilty to propping up the corpse of an 80-year-old man in a vehicle so they could withdraw money from the decedent’s account at a U.S. Bank drive-thru window.

In a court appearance last week, Karen Casbohm, 63, and Loreen Bea Feralo, 56, each copped to a pair of criminal charges: gross abuse of a corpse, a felony, and misdemeanor theft.

Beware of free hugs

While two people have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in Orange County earlier this month, authorities are warning Southern Californians to be vigilant of approaching strangers who appear to want a hug.

*****

Ha ha, yeah..... like I'm going to let a total stranger close enough to give me a fucking hug.

"No no, I'm cool, it's just a scratch"

The Life Cycle of a Bullet

You resented buying it. 9mm blasting bullets run less than $300 per kiloround. In this case, you read a few online reviews and then forked over nearly 40 bucks for a box of 50. This was the good stuff. At least you would never have to shoot it.

The bullet weighs 124 grains. That’s about 8 grams. It was born in the SIG SAUER ammo plant outside Little Rock, Arkansas. The cases are nickel-plated for long life, and the bullets incorporate more raw technology than the moon landings.

Once you get home, you load your carry magazine to capacity with the shiny silver cartridges. You then lock the magazine in the butt of your pistol and slide it into the gun safe. You don’t plan to think of them ever again.

Inside the B-17 Ball Turret
The B-17 Ball turret. Every military aviation fan has looked at this iconic piece of ww2 equipment and wondered how on earth anyone could be brave enough to spend a mission inside this cramped, cold and exposed environment. This small sphere was tightly packed with weapons, ammo, sophisticated mechanisms and one brave gunner who had to contort himself into position. This gunner was usually the shortest guy in the crew and his job was exceptionally tough. After surviving an assassination attempt over the weekend, Trump began the week with good news in the form of Judge Aileen Cannon dismissing special counsel Jack Smith’s Mar-a-Lago case against him in a seismic ruling that could spell the end of his federal legal woes and build on his existing momentum in the national spotlight.

To the commenter who was raging about people in favor of car inspections.....

I deleted your comment. Why? Try reading the text above the comment form, you know, the one about keeping your comment civil and coherent?
Now who's the fucking retard?

By the way, I agreed with what you were saying. Your delivery sucked, though.

The Legacy Media Has Passed the Point of No Return

Joe Biden’s one major accomplishment during his calamitous tenure as president is to abet the legacy media in their head-first dash into permanent and irretrievable disrepute. The legacy media’s self-prostitution in concealing and downplaying Biden’s accelerating senescence, and mindlessly promoting and justifying the assassination of Donald Trump are the final straws that have sealed their fate.

Appeals court blocks Biden student loan forgiveness SAVE Plan

A federal appeals court on Thursday temporarily blocked the Biden administration’s student loan forgiveness plan, which seeks to lower payments for more than 8 million borrowers.

President Joe Biden‘s Saving on a Valuable Education Plan is the latest income-driven repayment program that intends to offer affordable payment plans and pathways to student loan forgiveness at taxpayers’ expense. The Department of Education debuted the SAVE Plan last year in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down a previous plan to forgive up to $20,000 of debt for millions of borrowers.
