Coco Gauff leads U.S. tennis team selection for Paris 2024, with Jessica Pegula, Taylor Fritz set to join her

New world No.2 Coco Gauff will lead an 11-member U.S. tennis squad for the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The U.S. Tennis Association announced its team on Thursday (20 June), with Gauff set to make her Olympic debut next month at Stade Roland-Garros. The 20-year-old will be joined by the top American man in world No.12 Taylor Fritz.

Gauff's regular doubles partner Jessica Pegula, the world No.5, has also been named to the team, having recently returned to the WTA Tour after two months away due to injury.

For the U.S., Madison Keys, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton and Sebastian Korda qualified on their singles ranking (as of 10 June), but opted out of the Olympic event.

National Organising Committees (NOCs) have slowly been rolling out their tennis teams for the Games, including Serbia's selection of Novak Djokovic on Wednesday (19 June). The 24-time major winner is in a race against time after tearing his meniscus during the French Open earlier this month.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has been tracking the team announcements on their X account.
