Airbnb is helping to create a new standard for hosting that will be a win for host cities, a win for spectators and fans, and a win for athletes.

Exclusive TOP Partnership category: Unique Accommodation Products, Unique Experiences Services and Olympian Experiences Services

Airbnb became a Worldwide Olympic Partner in 2019, committing to providing travel options that are economically empowering, socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable.

Airbnb is working with over one million hosts in Tokyo, Beijing, Paris, Milano-Cortina and LA to welcome the world over the next five Olympic and Paralympic Games, providing travel experiences that create intercultural exchanges while benefiting the local community and commerce.

Together, the IOC and Airbnb have launched a new category of Experiences, hosted by Olympians to provide financial support for athletes and career opportunities after competing. Support and training to athletes are also provided through the IOC Athlete365 platform.

Airbnb is championing diversity and inclusivity through accessible accommodation and adapted experiences, gender equality in hosting as well as sport, and over the course of the partnership, the IOC and Airbnb are establishing programmes to provide long-term support to athletes and refugees.
