Cardi B might as well have already won her Grammy.
The “Bartier Cardi” rapper took to Instagram showing off what might be better than a trophy: a handwritten note from Bono.
“Oh my God I got a f—king note from Bono,” she said in a video during Sunday’s award show. “This is f—king Bono. He f—king knows me. I can’t believe it I can’t motherf—in’ believe it.”
The profanity-laced reaction was complete with the caption, “I CAN’T BELIEVE IT.”
The rapper, nominated for best rap performance and best rap song for her debut hit “Bodak Yellow,” took the stage in the beginning of the show with Bruno Mars to perform, “Finesse.”
Censorship has been a struggle for Cardi B at the Grammys as she said she had “butterflies in my stomach and vagina!” during a red carpet interview.
