James Corden just set the bar for losing.
At Sunday night’s Grammys, host Corden handed out puppies to comedians who lost the award for best comedy album, and jealous celebrities sounded off on social media.
“I mean, what the hell @JKCorden and @RecordingAcad I didn’t get my puppy consolation prize?!” ranted Kelly Clarkson on Twitter. “I’m calling bulls–t. Y’all owe me a puppy.”
Comedians that got puppies in turn for losing in the category were: Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Sarah Silverman, and Kevin Hart.
Even Natasha Beddingfield took to Twitter wanting a consolation puppy for her Grammy loss in 2007.
“Best consolation prize ever,” she wrote. “Wish they gave me a puppy when i didn’t win best pop vocal nomination.”
