Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino says sobriety is best gift ever

For Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, there is no such thing as a bad gift, “just a bad attitude.”

“Be grateful,” the “Jersey Shore” star recently told Page Six. “Every holiday is a gift. [I’m] grateful for everyone.”

As Sorrentino, 36, and new wife Lauren Pesce ready for the holidays, the MTV staple, who will report to prison early next year for tax evasion, also reflected on his own personal growth.

“Around Christmas time three years ago, I started my journey of becoming my best self,” he said, adding the best present he has received is “the gift of sobriety.”

With his “Jersey Shore” family on the nice list, Sorrentino said he is “handing out clues” to his co-stars this Christmas.

“Ron, run the tape, and never let your emotions rule your intelligence,” Sorrentino said. “Vinny, stay away from bottle girls and for the love of God, eat the pizza and treat thyself.”

As for pal Pauly D, Sorrentino doesn’t have much to add.

“It’s hard to say anything about a man that has it all together. Stay blessed.”

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
