Taylor Swift fans ‘freak out’ over tiny detail of her Golden Globes 2024 beauty look: ‘Easter eggs’
No detail goes unnoticed by the Swifties.
Several social media users pointed out that Taylor Swift was rocking unusually long nails when she hit the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes Sunday night.
The 34-year-old “Cruel Summer” singer, who is currently on a break from her record-breaking Eras Tour, sported sparkly silver tips rather than her go-to short nails at the star-studded event in Los Angeles.
“She never has her nails done. You might be thinking that’s an insane thing to freak out about and it means nothing,” one TikTok user mused, before waving their index finger to indicate that wasn’t the case.
Several others posited their theories in the comments section, many of which related to the impending release of her re-recorded album, “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).”
“SHE LITERALLY SAID HER NAILS CAN BE EASTER EGGS,” one person wrote, while another chimed in with, “shes [sic] plotting something.”
“Fake nails ?!?! That’s new. The SUSPENCE [sic] IS KILLING ME!!!!” a third wrote.
Others thought she was simply relishing her short break from touring.
“The nails are fire !!! I’m wondering if she’s just enjoying the time off because she can have them done? Cause on tour playing guitar she can’t really,” one fan wrote.

Swift’s nail artist, Lisa Peña Wong, also posted several snaps of the Grammy winner on the red carpet in her green sequined Gucci dress.
“Yes look who’s in the building,” she captioned the photo set, before crediting every member of the pop superstar’s glam squad.
The “Lavender Haze” singer let her blond hair cascade down her back in a simple wave, adding several diamond drop earrings by De Beers and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Fans were quick to point out that her slinky green gown might also be an Easter egg for “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).”

The songstress, who has been dating Travis Kelce since last summer, found herself in the spotlight during the star-studded awards show when host Jo Koy awkwardly dissed her romance with the NFL player.
Swift was visibly unimpressed when the comedian attempted to crack a joke about her attendance at Kelce’s football games, which have been heavily documented over the past few months.
“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL — on the Golden Globes we have fewer camera shots to Taylor Swift,” the host quipped.
She shot the comedian an icy stare and took a sip from her glass of Moët & Chandon as the room fell silent.
However, Swift took it all in stride and spent the rest of the evening laughing and smiling while chatting with pals like Selena Gomez and Keleigh Teller.
