Kim Kardashian’s son Saint walks on soccer field with Lionel Messi: ‘Talk about privilege’
Kim Kardashian has been blasted for sharing a video of her son, Saint, 8, striding onto a soccer field, holding legendary player Lionel Messi’s hand.
The extraordinary moment occurred on Sunday night as Messi’s team, Inter Miami, took on the L.A. Galaxy at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles and all the players walked out holding the hands of local children.
“Saint walking Messi out on the field tonight at the La Galaxy vs Inter Miami game!!!” Kardashian wrote alongside a video she shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). “He is living the absolute dream!”
The makeup mogul, 43, who shares Saint with her ex Kanye West, also posted a photo of the youngster and a pal watching the game on her Instagram Stories, thanking the L.A. Galaxy for “making all of their dreams come true.”
However, not everyone shared Kardashian’s enthusiasm.
“Talk about privilege. Hope he can kick the ball,” wrote one netizen, while another noted, “Would be awesome if some kid actually deserving of it got that opportunity. Not someone who was incredibly lucky to be born to billionaires.”

“What money can buy,” added another.
But not everyone was so critical.
“People mad at this are pathetic,” wrote one defender. “If you could do it for your kid you all would if that’s what they wanted. Kim can and she did.”
“He is currently walking with living legend 🔥,” wrote another fan about the global soccer superstar.
It’s not even the first time Saint has met Messi.

In July 2023, Kardashian shared a pic of Saint with Messi after his Inter Miami debut … calling it the, “Best day of their entire lives.”
Kardashian has long encouraged her son’s sporting interests.
In a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” she took Saint to London to see England’s Arsenal F.C. square off against Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon.
And it seems Saint is just as keen about basketball.
Last week the SKIMS founder revealed that he had earned a spot on his All Star basketball team.
“Saint made the All Star team 💥,” she captioned a video posted to her Instagram Story on Saturday.
“They won and he played so good,” Kardashian proudly added.
