Keith McNally admits ‘revolting’ Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos ‘looked stunning’ at Met Gala 2024
Keith McNally prefers to serve his compliments rare.
The famed restaurateur finally flattered Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos on Monday after describing the couple as “revolting” in an Instagram post last month.
“Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez making their Met Gala debut tonight and looking like a million dollars,” he captioned a red carpet photo of the pair from fashion’s biggest night.
“It never feels good when reality doesn’t fit one’s narrative, but I must admit that Bezos and Sánchez both looked stunning and very beautiful tonight.”
The helicopter pilot, 54, shined on the red carpet in a black-and-white, floral-adorned gown.
The creation paid tribute to the night’s theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with a nature-inspired strapless style that was covered in pieces of mirror glass, arranged in a floral pattern.
Sánchez posed for photos with the Amazon founder, 60, who opted for a classic black tuxedo for the momentous occasion.

Although it was the former entertainment journalist’s first time attending the soirée, Bezos previously appeared with then-wife Mackenzie Bezos in 2012 and again — solo — in 2019.
Sánchez also looked glamorous at a pre-Met Gala bash Sunday night where she showcased her curves in a corseted lace minidress.
McNally, 72, first rolled back his attacks on Bezos and his bride-to-be earlier this week when he admitted he lashed out at the “helicopter-flying beauty” because he was “stone cold sober.”
“Joking aside, just because Sanchez may have spent a fortune on plastic surgery doesn’t make her ‘revolting,’” he wrote. “In fact most of the revolting people I know haven’t spent a penny on plastic surgery.”
Instead, the Balthazar owner turned his ire toward Jerry Seinfeld’s wife, Jessica, whom he described as a “f–ker” for leaving an “unfunny” comment on his “revolting” post that she “quickly deleted.”
