Christie Brinkley wants you to stay safe in the sun this summer.
While discussing her beauty routine during a recent interview with Page Six Style, the seemingly ageless Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover star said sunscreen is her “No. 1” tip for turning back the clock.
“I can’t say it enough: Sunblock and a hat will do more for you [than anything else],” the 70-year-old supermodel told us, name-checking Supergoop and La Roche-Posay as her go-to SPF brands.

“And take it from me, because I didn’t do enough sunblock, I did get skin cancer, and I also have to deal with hyperpigmented and hypopigmented spots,” she continued, adding that she even points out her skin damage to her daughters, Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley Cook, to scare them into wearing sunscreen every single day.
“I lift my skirt, I show them my thigh and I say, ‘Look at these spots! You don’t want that!'”
The avid gardener — who recently launched her new Hamptons-inspired clothing line, Twrhll, at HSN — is far from the only famous Supergoop! fan.
