All hail the queen of quiet luxury.
Jennifer Lawrence showed off her spots in a leopard-printed coat at the Dior Cruise 2025 show, held in the gardens of Scotland’s historic Drummond Castle Monday — and while her jeans-and-tank ensemble appeared at least somewhat laid-back, its price tag was anything but.
The “Hunger Games” star, 33, wore a simple white cotton Dior tank top stitched with the house’s signature bee emblem and “CD” logo, with the loungewear basic ringing in at a whopping $890.
“The quality of a tank really can make or break an outfit in the warmer months,” Liz Teich, founder of The New York Stylist, tells Page Six Style, adding that luxury versions like Dior’s are a “subtle yet in-your-face way to share your status without having the brand’s name boldly on your outfit.”
But at the end of the day, while made from “more substantial fabric than something you’d get at a fast fashion store,” it’s still a simple cotton tank — and according to Teich, “you don’t need to spend Dior prices to get the look.”
She’s partial to the $100-and-under versions from Dé Rococo, “which have a similar ‘if you know, you know’ logo as Dior or say, Loewe, but for a fraction of the cost.”
After all, not even Lawrence shelled out the cash for her splurgy singlet; “She’s getting her almost-$900 tank for free and as an advertisement, as the face of Dior,” Teich points out.
To that end, the Oscar winner paired the pricey basic with a chic leopard-printed coat from the luxury label’s pre-fall 2024 collection, which she cinched with a black Dior logo belt ($700).
Lawrence finished off her ‘fit with a pair of wide-legged Dior jeans ($1,650) and added more stealth-wealth accessories in the form of a black leather Jennifer Behr headband ($168) and Dior slingback pumps ($1,150) and sunglasses ($480).
She also carried a black Dior top-handle bag; similar Cannage-stitched styles retail for around $4,000.
The “No Hard Feelings” star sat in the front row next to Anya Taylor-Joy, who wore a racy pair of cutout stockings with a sheer black turtleneck for the Cruise 2025 presentation.
Lawrence has showed off plenty of other standout Dior looks over the years, including the black polka dot gown she wore on the Oscars 2024 red carpet.
With summer quickly approaching, we’re looking forward to seeing how she styles this ultra-luxe tank next.
