Katy Perry strikes a pose in bejeweled American flag bikini for Fourth of July

Proud to be an American woman.

Katy Perry sported the American flag’s famous stars and stripes on her chest while celebrating the Fourth of July on Thursday.

The “Firework” singer marked the holiday with a sizzling new Instagram photo, which featured her rocking a bedazzled red, white and blue bathing suit top designed by Erin Lareau and Heather Picchiottino as she recreated Rosie the Riveter’s iconic “We Can Do It!” poster pose.

“BB UR A FIREWORK 🎆,” Perry, 39, began her caption, before promoting her forthcoming single, “Woman’s World,” which drops July 11.

“And speaking of work, WOMAN’S WORLD IS GOING TO WORK IN ONE WEEK HAPPY 4TH 🇺🇸.”

The upcoming track marks Perry’s highly anticipated return to music and follows her recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week last month.

The former “American Idol” judge gave fans a preview of the song by putting some of the lyrics on the extra long train of her red velvet Balenciaga dress last month.

Though the exact words were difficult to make out on the 200-foot train, fans speculated that the dress read, “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it / Sexy, confident / So intelligent / She is heaven-sent / So soft, so strong.”

Others guessed that more lyrics included, “Fire in her eyes / Feminine divine / She was born to shine.”

Shortly before she announced her new song, Perry stepped down as a judge on the “American Idol” stage after she finished her tenure on the 22nd season of the hit competition series.

Before she walked away, she offered a touching tribute to 168 “Idol” contestants by featuring their faces on the maxi skirt she wore during the finale in May.

“I thought a good way to honor my time here would be to put the top 24 of each season on my skirt so they were all there,” Perry told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time, before touching on the moment she got to show off the look on stage. “It was a fun surprise because I was raising up and you just saw more and more contestants.”
