Lauren Sánchez beams as son Nikko walks the Dolce & Gabbana runway again: ‘Proud mom’
Mom will always be this model’s biggest fan.
Lauren Sánchez couldn’t help but share a “proud mom moment” on Instagram as her 23-year-old son, Nikko Gonzalez, hit the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria runway Wednesday — and Nikko wasn’t the only one making a fashion statement in Sardinia, Italy this week.
The former broadcast journalist posted a sweet video on her Story that showed the up-and-coming model strutting the catwalk as she beamed in the front row alongside fiancé Jeff Bezos.
“Wait for proud mom moment” she captioned the clip, tagging her son and the Italian designer fashion house.
In the video, recent college graduate Nikko — who Sánchez’s shares with ex-boyfriend and former NFL star Tony Gonzalez — wore a sparkly black wrap top over coordinating skirted trousers accented with a scarf at the waist.
Meanwhile, the helicopter pilot wore a sheer white long-sleeved dress with a high slit as she watched on with a huge smile.
She also posted a photo of her son’s runway appearance on her Instagram feed, writing, “So amazing to watch my baby boy. @dolcegabbana @nikkogzz.”
This wasn’t Nikko’s first runway rodeo; he made his modeling debut at Dolce & Gabbana’s Milan Fashion Week show in January as his mom and soon-to-be stepdad once again watched on with pride.
And while Sánchez might not have appeared on the catwalk, she made sure to pull out all the fashion stops in Sardinia.
The future Mrs. Bezos rocked a sheer black corseted gown at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda show on Tuesday, and earlier in the day, she made an airport style statement in a silky white-and-yellow printed dress from the Italian designer.
Something tells us Sánchez has more high-fashion surprises up her sleeve in Sardinia this week.
