Sophie Turner jokes she’s ‘looking for something different, fresh, fun’ in liqueur ad amid Joe Jonas divorce
Sophie Turner is looking for a “fresh” start.
The “Game of Thrones” star, who is going through a divorce from Joe Jonas, jokes about dating in a new ad for St-Germain’s global summer campaign, “Spritz Up Your Summer,” released Monday.
The short film, set “somewhere in the South of France,” opens with Turner, 28, overlooking a balcony before heading inside her hotel, where a handsome French bartender greets her.
The actress seductively says she is “looking for something different, fun, fresh” — in a nod to her recent change in relationship status.
“I’m very particular,” she explains.
“Has to be bright, obviously, bubbly, the type that’s welcome at any party, sweet but not too sweet. Am I asking too much or do you think I’ll find it?”
Thankfully, the bartender knows just what she’s looking for — a St-Germain Hugo Spritz.
“Truly the whole package,” Turner quips.
While the “Joan” star’s collaboration with the liqueur company makes light of life after Jonas, it also plays into past claims about her lifestyle.
Shortly after the Jonas Brothers member, 34, filed for divorce last September, reports circulated claiming that Turner’s penchant for partying was a major factor in their split.
“She likes to party; he likes to stay at home,” a source told TMZ at the time. “They have very different lifestyles.”
However, in May, Turner vehemently denied the claims during an interview with British Vogue.
“Those were the worst few days of my life,” she said of the rumors spreading, insisting that she is “a good mum” and has “never been a partier” — which Jonas himself once confirmed.
“It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real!” she added. “I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true.’”
Turner shares daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2, with Jonas.
Although the “X-Men” star used the witty partnership to make light of her highly publicized love life, fans shouldn’t expect her to be having a hot-girl summer.
Turner started dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson in October 2023, and the pair reportedly have been getting “fairly serious.”
A source told Us Weekly in January that Pearson “treats Sophie with nothing but respect, and he makes her laugh, which is also so important to her.”
Turner reportedly “couldn’t be happier” with the businessman — and it shows.
The lovebirds were spotted on a PDA-filled polo date last weekend at his family’s West Sussex estate.
The couple was all smiles as they held hands before Turner popped onto Pearson’s back for a piggyback ride.
They completed the loved-up outing with a picturesque picnic in the countryside, which the Emmy nominee posted pictures from online.
