Lindsay Hubbard says she and mystery boyfriend are ‘very much in love’ as she defends his right to privacy
Lindsay Hubbard defended her mystery boyfriend’s right to privacy but shared that they’re “very much in love.”
After Bravo sleuths unearthed her unknown beau’s identity this week, @Bravoandcocktails_ stated via Instagram Story that the fan account would not post any information about him until the “Summer House” star did, which would make it “fair game.”
Hubbard, who is pregnant with her first child, re-shared the post on her own story and said her boyfriend’s privacy is “not about us being proud of each other or not.”
“He is beyond proud to be my boyfriend and father of my child, and vice versa. We are very much in love and have a beautiful relationship,” she wrote. “This is about his work, his privacy, and the fact that it is not his job to be public like me.”
The Bravolebrity, 37, has provided fans with just a glimpse of her boyfriend, sharing a photo of them at a wedding in Portugal. However, she used a brown heart emoji to conceal his face at the time.
Hubbard also gave her partner a shoutout in the caption for being a huge “help” while she kept her pregnancy a secret.
“Hiding this news has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do! (Mentally, emotionally, and physically) 🥵,” she told her followers, before breaking down the timeline of her pregnancy.
Hubbard’s major life event comes after healing from her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke, ending their engagement right before they were set to get married. Radke, 39, chose to break up with the former PR professional on camera but later admitted to having some regrets about how he handled the situation.
“It’s been scary. It’s been confusing. It’s been emotional. And I feel really bad with how everything ultimately played out,” Radke saiid on the “Salty With Captain Lee” podcast in November 2023.
Hubbard then told Glamour in a profile published in May that hindsight allowed her to see that she “dodged a bullet” when her betrothed called it quits.
“I really truly feel thankful that the universe, or God, or whatever higher being you believe in, stepped in and saved me from a really long, hard, rough life ahead,” she shared.
While Hubbard has definitively moved on, it appears Radke may be back on the dating scene once again. Photos exclusively obtained by Page Six on Tuesday showed the former TV assistant enjoying a night out with a mystery brunette at Everdene bar at the Virgin Hotel in New York City.
