Ben Affleck ditches wedding ring again after spending Fourth of July apart from Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck was photographed, once again, not wearing his wedding ring after spending the Fourth of July holiday weekend without Jennifer Lopez amid their marital woes.
The “Gone Girl” actor was seen driving to his office with a bare left hand in Los Angeles, Calif., on Wednesday.
In the photos obtained by Page Six, Affleck sat in the driver’s seat while he squinted and futzed with something on his dashboard with his right hand and held onto the wheel with his left hand.
Affleck, 51, wore a light blue button-up collared shirt with a dark blue blazer over it for the office casual look.
The Oscar winner has been photographed both wearing and not wearing his wedding band over the last few months ever since he moved out of the marital home he shares with Lopez and into a rental in Brentwood, Calif.
Prior to his outing on Wednesday, Affleck was seen sporting the gold ring while leaving his office on Sunday.
Lopez, 54, has also been spotted both with and without her sparkler amid rumblings of marital issues.
Most recently, the “Let’s Get Loud” songstress was photographed wearing her ring –– in addition to a charm bracelet with his initial on it –– while she spent some time in the Hamptons with her friends over the long weekend.
Lopez was also photographed going shopping with her manager, Benny Medina, and her child, Emme, among other pals, last weekend.
Affleck didn’t join Lopez for the East Coast getaway and instead chose to get in some quality time with two of the children he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
It’s unclear if Lopez has returned to LA or if she’s spending more time in New York City.
Shortly after the couple decided to spend the holiday weekend apart, a source told Page Six that the chances of them rekindling their romance are “slim.”
The insider told us that while the “Atlas” actress is still “smitten” with the director, she is focusing on a summer of “health, happiness and joy.”
“Nothing can break her spirit. She wants to have a summer full of fun and laughter,” the insider shared.
Prior to that, another source told Page Six that their relationship has been “over for months,” and they have been separated since March.
Fans began to speculate that the duo were going through issues when Lopez attended the Met Gala by herself in May –– despite her being a co-chair and him previously attending with her in years past.
The speculation heightened after Page Six confirmed that Affleck moved into a rental home, and they have since put their $60 million mansion on the market.
Lopez and Affleck, who tied the knot almost two years ago, have yet to address the rumblings.
