Watch Travis Kelce dedicate karaoke award to Taylor Swift as he skips 2024 ESPYs

Taylor Swift isn’t the only one with singing skills.

After Travis Kelce won a karaoke award on Thursday for his performance of Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again,” he cried out, “Taylor, this one’s for you!”

The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, pretended to cry and jumped up and down with exaggerated excitement over the honor.

Holding up the trophy, Kelce gushed, “I love you guys!”

The contest took place as part of the American Century Championship charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Kelce, who wore a striped U.S.A. long-sleeve shirt and cargo shorts to the event, was notably absent from the 2024 ESPYs that same evening.

Despite his absence, the tight end got a shoutout from host Serena Williams during the retired tennis player’s monologue.

“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City Chiefs. This year, Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend won a Super Bowl,” Williams, 42, joked onstage.

Kelce began dating Swift in July 2023, with the couple making their romance public two months later.

The “Catching Kelce” alum has attended many of Swift’s Eras Tour shows since they became an item — and he took the stage in London last month.

The former reality star joined two of the Grammy winner’s backup dancers in a transitional skit during her “Tortured Poets Department” set.

Kelce subsequently joked on his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast that Swifties should “keep showing up” for more possible cameos.

As for his “stage presence” at Thursday’s competition, the three-time Super Bowl winner belted out lyrics and interacted with the musicians.

One Instagram user joked that Travis was “auditioning hard” for another slot in Swift’s choreography.

“He really injected #theerastour stage presence in his veins!” another wrote, with a third speculating the NFL star was “about to bust a vocal chord.”
