Bradley Cooper’s full dating history: All of his girlfriends and an ex-wife
Bradley Cooper is known to keep an A-list woman on his arm.

Jennifer Esposito
Cooper began dating actress Jennifer Esposito in February 2006. He proposed to the “Crash” star in October and tied the knot in December of the same year in the South of France.
Unfortunately, Esposito filed for divorce after just four months, citing irreconcilable differences.
“Jennifer Esposito has filed for divorce. She asks that you respect her privacy at this time,” her rep said in a statement at the time.
In a separate statement, Cooper’s attorney added, “The divorce was mutual and they’ve been separated for quite a while.”
Renée Zellweger
The actor’s next major relationship was with fellow thespian Renée Zellweger. They began dating in 2009, three years after their initial meeting on the set of “Case 39” in 2006.
“I can’t say enough about her,” Cooper told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I just love her. I [loved] coming to work. I love acting with her. I can learn so much from her.”
Zellweger spent the 2009 holiday season with Cooper and his parents and they were spotted house hunting in early 2010, eventually moving into a $4.7 million home together in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The pair split the following year with sources at Us Weekly claiming Cooper’s career ambitions sealed the couple’s fate.
Olivia Wilde
While Cooper and “Life Itself” actress Olivia Wilde were never confirmed as a couple, the pair reportedly were “definitely hooking up” for a short time in early 2011 after Cooper’s split from Zellweger.
Jennifer Lopez
Another brief courtship, Lopez and Cooper were reported to have dated in late 2011, as the pair was spotted catching dinner together in New York City and were snapped in Cooper’s car in Los Angeles following Lopez’s split from Marc Anthony.
The relationship soon fizzled but the pair remain friends, with J. Lo offering words of encouragement to a nervous Cooper before his 2019 Oscars performance of “Shallow” with Lady Gaga.
“He seemed a little nervous. I just whispered, I said, ‘The song is so beautiful. When they hear the first few notes, they’re going to start applauding. So don’t worry. Just deliver the song.’ He was like, ‘I got it, I got it, OK.’”
Zoe Saldaña
Cooper began dating Zoe Saldaña in December 2011 after meeting the actress on the set of their film “The Words.”
Unfortunately, the couple split after only four months, with a source telling E! News at the time, “He dumped her, he just doesn’t want to be in a relationship at the moment…They have a great friendship, a natural chemistry and it was for that reason their relationship was able to grow into something more. But the timing was wrong, they are in different places in their lives.”
The pair reunited in September and reportedly planned to spend the holidays together, but just couldn’t make it through the year.
“Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe. They all were going to Paris, but things didn’t work out between them. Zoe spent New Year’s Eve with friends in Miami,” a source told Page Six at the time.
Suki Waterhouse
The bachelor went on to date UK model and actress Suki Waterhouse — who is 17 years his junior — in March 2013. While remaining pretty low-key, the pair did occasionally attend posh events arm-in-arm, including the 2014 SAG Awards and a White House dinner.
“I don’t talk about my boyfriend because it’s boring,” Waterhouse said in Elle UK’s January 2014 issue. “At least, that’s what I decided to tell you when you asked. I do think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won’t be able to stop. And I don’t really want to talk about him, you know?”
The pair called it quits March 2015, splitting just before the Oscars, though they still attended the ceremony together as friends.
Irina Shayk
Cooper began dating model Irina Shayk in the spring of 2015. Nearly two years later, they announced they were expecting a child together, welcoming daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper in March 2017.
Unfortunately, the pair’s relationship was “hanging on by a thread” by June 2019
“Because of their daughter, they keep trying,” said a source of the couple at the time, adding, “Things are not good. Neither one is happy. The relationship is hanging by a thread.”
The couple split soon after the report, with many speculating that his chemistry with Lady Gaga in “A Star is Born” played a factor in the breakup.
Lady Gaga?
Many believed that Cooper and Gaga’s chemistry during their emotional duet of “Shallow” at the Academy Awards was too strong to ignore, but the “Rain On Me” singer has consistently denied having a non-professional relationship with her screen partner, chalking it up to great acting.
“This is a love song, ‘Shallow,’ the movie, ‘A Star Is Born, is a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance,” she said, adding, “It was important to both of us that we were connected the entire time.”
Dianna Agron
News of Cooper’s relationship with Dianna Agron came on the same day his relationship with Abedin was revealed.
Sources exclusively revealed to Page Six that the actor had been dating the “Glee” actress before he began seeing Abedin, but it’s unclear how long the couple were together or even when they were together.
Huma Abedin
The “Hangover” star has been dating top aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, for the past few months, according to multiple insiders. Vogue editor Anna Wintour is said to have played matchmaker for the pair.
“They are perfect for each other,” one source said. “They’re both into power and politics and human affairs.”
Gigi Hadid
Cooper and Gigi Hadid were first romantically linked in October 2023 but did not confirm their relationship until January when they were spotted holding hands while on vacation in London.
The pair have not attempted to conceal their romance since going public and even have attended high-profile events together, including Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Cooper and the model joined Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, for the Paris tour stop in May 2024 and even shared a passionate kiss while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end grooved to the pop star’s tunes.
Just a couple of weeks after their Europe stop, the “Alias” alum and Hadid were spotted adorably dancing to Stevie Nicks at the BottleRock music festival in Napa, Calif., over Memorial Day weekend.
Page Six exclusively reported in June 2024 that Cooper and Hadid dined at newly relocated Tribeca hotspot Forgione with several friends, where they were seen packing on the PDA at their table by cuddling and kissing.
In December 2023, Cooper purchased a lavish farmhouse close to Gigi’s mom Yolanda Hadid’s $4 million horse farm in New Hope, Penn.
