Char Adams is a former reporter at PEOPLE. She left PEOPLE in 2019.
Before joining PEOPLE in 2015, Char was a writer, editor and communications strategist for Black Women’s Blueprint, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. She also was a contributor at Bustle from 2016 to 2017, a writer at DailyMail.com from 2014 to 2015 and a reporter at The Daily Herald in 2014. Char worked as a reporter and copy editor at Altoona Mirror from 2013 to 2014.
Char graduated with a master's degree in women's and gender studies from The Graduate Center, CUNY in 2020 and a bachelor's in journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014.
