Prior to this she was a Staff Writer on the team covering genres including entertainment, royals, news and lifestyle.

Before joining PEOPLE, Kirsty worked as a writer and editor for a number of publications and their websites. She previously served as a Senior Celebrity and Entertainment Writer at Reach PLC, where she focused on breaking celebrity engagements, pregnancy announcements and births, as well as exclusively covering celebrity weddings across print and online. Prior to this, Kirsty worked at OK! Magazine in the UK for six years. She started at the publication as an Editorial Assistant, before going on to hold the titles of Staff Writer, Acting Entertainment Editor and News Editor.

Kirsty previously worked at Reach PLC, www.ok.co.uk and OK! Magazine.

Kirsty Hatcher graduated with a master's degree in Magazine Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts Joint Honors degree in Journalism, Media and Sociology from Cardiff University.
