Stop throwing items at Bebe Rexha.

During a June 1 concert in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the 34-year-old pop star instructed police to have multiple crowd members removed from the venue for throwing items her way — about a year after she was hit in the face with a phone during a New York City show.

According to fan-filmed videos from the performance on social media, Rexha warned audience members about the consequences of hurling items toward the stage. "If you want to hit me in the face, I had them press charges to the other guy. I would love to become richer," she said, assuring fans she's making a "joke" and "not inviting that" behavior.

Another clip shows a concertgoer getting escorted out of the venue by police after seemingly throwing something. "It didn't have to go that far," Rexha told the crowd, before apologizing for the disruption and restarting one of the songs in her set.

Reps for Rexha did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The Grammy-nominated musician was previously hit in the forehead with a phone during her June 2023 concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in lower Manhattan, splitting her eyebrow and causing a black eye. She was then escorted off the stage, treated by a medical team at the venue and taken to a hospital where she received stitches.

New Jersey resident Nicolas Malvagna was arrested for the crime and charged with two counts of third degree assault as well as second degree aggravated harassment, third degree attempted assault and second degree harassment.

According to the criminal complaint at the time, Malvagna was taken into custody, admitted to throwing the phone and told police, "I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny."

At a Feb. 9 court hearing, Malvagna took an offer for his charges to be dismissed after completing 40 days of community service, as long as he doesn't violate a six-month order of protection.

"Mr. Malvagna has voluntarily agreed to complete private community service, and in return all of the criminal charges against him will be dismissed and sealed," Malvagna's lawyer, Todd Spodek, told PEOPLE at the time in a statement about his client, whose next court date is June 20.

In May, Rexha dropped her latest single, "Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)," which finds her in a confident space following her split from ex-boyfriend Keyan Safyari last year.

She delivered the song's live debut during her main stage performance at Coachella in April and later told PEOPLE the set felt like the launch of a "new chapter" where she feels "confident" and "comfortable."

"I've gone through so much in the past X amount of years that people don't know about, and I feel like I finally have now come to peace with a lot of things. I finally feel excited and alive," said Rexha. "It's so awesome seeing everybody so excited, but I'm like, 'You have no f---ing idea.' It's like, I'm so excited."
