He will always love her!

Billy Ray Cyrus shared an Instagram photo with longtime family friend Dolly Parton and his wife Firerose on Tuesday, captioning the post, “1000 words. 🩷”

In the photo, Cyrus, 62, wore a cowboy hat as he stood between Firerose and Parton, 78, who rocked an all-pink pantsuit and leaned in close for a hug.

Firerose — who married the musician in October — shared the photo to her Instagram Story, writing, “Beyond grateful for @dollyparton. I will always love you,” a nod to the star’s 1974 classic.

Cyrus also shared the photo to his Story, adding the words, "Between two angels."

Parton has been a longtime friend of the country singer's, as the two grew close while he toured with her in the early ‘90s promoting his single “Achy Breaky Heart.”

“When Billy had the big song, ‘Achy Breaky Heart,’ well, we toured together. I was on tour and then Billy toured with me and so that’s how we just got to be good friends, because he’s a Kentucky boy, I’m from Tennessee,” she told SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show last year.

The two eventually grew so close that Cyrus asked Parton to be the godmother of his daughter Miley after she was born in 1992.

“He said… ‘We’re having a girl, and you’ve got to be her godmother!’ And I said, ‘Well, I’d be honored,’” she told Stern. “So actually, Miley and I took over from there. We’ve just stayed very, very close through the years… I love Miley. She’s my little sweetheart. I’ve known her since before she was born, actually.”

Parton and Miley Cyrus have collaborated several times over the years, including on a new version of the latter’s 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball,” which appeared on Parton’s most recent album Rockstar.

Miley, 31, has publicly praised Parton many times over the years, and calls her “Aunt Dolly.”

Cyrus’s meet-up with Parton comes two weeks after Miley won two Grammy Awards — and pointedly left her dad out of her acceptance speech for record of the year.

“[Thanks to] everyone that’s standing on this stage right now…. My mommy, my sister, my love, my main gays because look how good I look,” she said. “Anyone else?... I don’t think I forgot anyone. But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!”
