A California woman is speaking out after she was hit by a crop dusting plane while driving to work.

Dee Arata, of Yuba City, told NBC affiliate KCRA she was driving through Pleasant Grove around 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday, June 25 when her pickup truck was struck by the aircraft.

The plane “clipped a fence” before hitting the Ford F-150 after failing to “generate enough lift” while taking off, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Yuba-Sutter division.

Arata, 41, spotted the plane in her peripheral vision just “seconds before it hit,” per KCRA. She then thought to herself, “Oh God, I’m going to get hit.”

Luckily, the single mom of one escaped without any major injuries. "I can’t believe I got hit by an airplane and survived," she said.

Arata was on her way to work as a nurse at an operating room in Roseville when the crash occurred, according to KCRA.

The woman was able to exit her vehicle on her own before she was transported to a local hospital out of precaution, FOX affiliate KMPH and CBS affiliate KOVR reported.

The pilot of the plane involved in the crash did not report any injuries, according to KMPH. Arata said she hugged the man after realizing they were both okay.

“He’s like, ‘I’m so sorry!’ and I was like, ‘It’s why it’s an accident. Accidents happen,’ ” she recalled, per KCRA.

Both the plane and the truck were damaged in the crash. Photographs shared by CHP Yuba-Sutter show the plane mangled and tilted to the side.

"It's surprising that no one was seriously injured or killed," said Sergeant JD McIntosh, per KOVR.

Arata agreed. "Honestly, I think it's a miracle I am still here," she told KCRA.

CHP said about 280 gallons of fuel was spilled as a result of the crash, according to ABC affiliate KXTV.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating, per the reports.
