'Punky' 's Soleil Moon Frye Has a Daughter

Former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, Jason Goldberg, welcomed their first child on Wednesday, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

A baby girl, Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg, was born at 2:20 am in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz; she was 19 inches long.

Mom and baby girl are “doing wonderfully” and resting comfortably, says a friend.

Frye, 29, and Goldberg, 34, the producer of MTV’s prank show Punk’d, exchanged vows in October 1998 in Los Angeles. The pair met in 1996 when Frye pitched him a movie script while she was studying film at New York City’s New School University.

“We became the best of friends,” she told PEOPLE in 1998. “Then we fell madly in love.”
