Hailey Bieber Dropped Rhode's First-Ever Blush — and It’s the Formula of My Dreams

Hailey Bieber’s Rhode blushes are finally here.

After months of teasing on social media, the 27-year-old model and founder has officially unveiled Rhode’s first-ever blush, Pocket Blush. As the name suggests, Pocket Blush is small enough to throw into even your tiniest purse for easy, on-the-go application, but it also boasts a creamy yet long-lasting formula. Plus, you can use it on both your lips and cheeks.

The highly anticipated launch marks the brand’s second color cosmetic and first outside of the lip category (the Peptide Lip Treatment, offered in a variety of scents and shades, went viral on social media and has sold out multiple times). Pocket Blush is available in six shades, so there's truly something for every makeup look — piggy (baby pink), freckle (neutral peach), spicy marg (bright coral), sleepy girl (soft mauve), juice box (hot pink) and toasted teddy (bronze terracotta).

"Our on-the-go cream blush wakes up cheeks and lips with a satiny, diffused flush that melts on smoothly and stays all day," the product description reads. "It’s a lightweight formula that hydrates skin for baby-soft cheeks and leaves a glowy finish without a greasy feel."

I got a chance to test out Pocket Blush ahead of the launch and as someone who is pretty picky about formulas (and has tried a lot of them), Rhode knocks it out of the ballpark. This product is creamy and hydrating but won't smear off the second you touch your face or start sweating. The pigment stays all day long, which is extremely rare for a cream blush, especially one that's so flexible and buildable.

While Pocket Blush's compact size is part of its appeal, it also means that you're not getting a whole lot of product. When I first took off the cap, I expected the product to take up the entire circumference of the tube and was disappointed to find that it didn't. For $24, the amount of product you get (0.18 oz) could easily seem overpriced to some, but it's worth noting that the blush is highly pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way.
