Sophie Tweed-Simmons Denies Her Lingerie Campaign Photos Were Photoshopped

Sophie Tweed-Simmons is shutting down critics who have accused her lingerie campaign photos for Adore Me of being altered.

“For those saying this is Photoshopped, well you��re wrong,” the model, 23, posted on Instagram along with a photo from the campaign in which she wears a matching gray bra and thong. “I was not altered to be smaller or bigger.”

Tweed-Simmons – who is the daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed – says she is constantly being criticized for her body, but still feels confident exactly the way she is.

“Once you thought I was too fat, then too thin, now you think I’m fake,” she continued in the post. “I worked really hard for this body and I love it, that’s all that matters.”

Tweed-Simmons also defended herself against commenters who have been calling her “slutty” for posing in lingerie, pointing out a double-standard in the modeling industry by posting a side-by-side photo of herself and a Victoria’s Secret model.

“Would just like to point out the hypocrisy of some of my followers,” she wrote. “Here is straight sized model Josephine modeling for Victoria’s Secret and Me modeling for Adore Me, yet she is considered ‘classy’ and I am considered ‘slutty.’ ”

“Interesting that some of you say ‘she changed’ or ‘I hoped she wouldn’t go down this route’ when really I’ve just booked a substantial catalogue job as a model,” she continued. “The job happens to be underwear, and because my booty is larger than hers, I’m being labeled. Just take a nice long think on that one. We are equally beautiful, intelligent and kind women so stop labeling us.”
