Jessica Biel Makes a Big Chop as She Unveils New Bob Haircut — See Her Look!

Jessica Biel is letting go of her long hair!

The actress, 42, unveiled a new bob haircut in a video sequence of her chopping off her hair posted on Instagram on Saturday, May 18.

“Brought back the f— ass Bob 💇🏻‍♀️,” Biel wrote in the caption, referring to the viral internet phrase of the bob haircut.

In the clip, the mother of two held her hair in bunches as she wore an oversized printed T-shirt while sitting in a chair in a dressing room.

She then tugged on her bunches a few times to the beat of the music playing over the clip, which had sound effects of a gun reloading. 

Biel then tilted her head to the side and gave her hair one more tug as she reappeared in a second clip with her hair chopped into a sleek short bob, also wearing a new outfit composed of a white tank top and gray blazer.

The Candy star has followed in the footsteps of a number of stars recently who have unveiled bob hairstyles, including Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lopez and Megan Fox.

Biel’s latest hair transformation comes after she chatted with PEOPLE about her new children’s book, A Kids Book About Periods, which opens up the topic of menstruation for young readers.

Detailing her own experience tied to struggling to start a family, the star said, "I was probably in my 30s when I was married and we were thinking about trying to start a family, and that's when all these questions came up. It wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be."

“... As I got older, things were changing and my cycle was different, and I wasn't getting pregnant. What was going on?" she continued.

Added Biel: "And I had a lot of trouble the second time getting pregnant as well ... It just kind of became clear that a lot of us don't know enough about our bodies."
