Morgan Wallen is postponing some of his upcoming shows after falling ill.

The country singer, 31, announced the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, July 12, just hours before his Tampa show at Raymond James Stadium.

“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” he wrote to fans in a post.

Wallen added that he “would not give you guys anywhere near 100%” if he tried to continue with his concerts, which will now take place on future dates. He informed fans, “As a result [of this news], I need to move tonight's Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week's Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”

Shortly after breaking the news, Jelly Roll — who was slated to perform at Wallen’s Tampa show — told his X followers, “Dear Tampa - I am working hard to put together something for y’all somewhere tonight - stay tuned.” He later announced a first-come first-serve pop-up show for ticketholders.

Wallen is currently on the extended 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time Tour (supporting his 2023 album of the same name), where he’s joined by rotating supporting acts Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Bailey Zimmerman, Jon Pardi, Nate Smith, Bryan Martin, Lauren Watkins and Ella Langley

“Been one of the best years for me and my music so we're gonna run it back.. same tour name, staying on this album and many more cities to visit,” the country star captioned the social media clip. “I've got plans in mind to still single ‘Cowgirls,’ ‘Man Made a Bar’ and who knows maybe ‘98 Braves.’ Let's keep this thing going.”

In light of his postponed shows, Wallen will next perform two concerts in Arlington, Texas, on July 25 and 26 at the AT&T Stadium. His long-running tour — which kicked off again on April 4 in Indianapolis — wraps up on Aug. 9 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
