Kate McKinnon was joined by her Barbie costar America Ferrera to present both documentary awards — Best Documentary Short Film and Best Documentary Feature — but first got an education on fact and fiction.

McKinnon name-checked the Jurassic Park franchise as documentaries, and seemed aghast to find out that the dinosaur stories were not, in fact, real life.

She also then asked to confirm if star Jeff Goldblum was real — which the original blockbuster's director Steven Spielberg denied. When McKinnon wondered, then, who was receiving her "nudes," Spielberg revealed himself as the unwitting recipient.

Best Documentary Short Film went to The Last Repair Shop and Best Documentary Feature was awarded to 20 Days in Mariupol.

"We're presenting tonight together for a very obvious reason: We both tried to kill Batman," they joked.

The claws were then out — joked Gosling about Oppenheimer's spot at the end of the fun moniker: "I think you guys are at the tail end of that because you were riding Barbie's coattails all summer."

Before giving the Best Costume Oscar to Poor Things, host Kimmel hearkened back to 1974, when someone streaked across the stage during the Academy Awards. He cued a reluctant Cena, who had changed his mind about participating in the callback.

"The male body is not a joke," he said, to which Kimmel argued Cena wrestles naked. "Dude, I don't wrestle naked, I wrestle in jorts," Cena said, which Kimmel teased was "worse."
