Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen had a night out to remember.

On Sunday, the longtime couple walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, before Steenburgen, 71, co-presented the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2024 Oscars.

Steenburgen and Danson, 76, coordinated in primarily black looks, with the Good Place actor in a black suit over a crips white shirt, complete with black shoes and a polka-dot tie.

His actress wife rocked a strapless black column gown with a thigh-high slit and buckle detail in the center, carrying a delicate gold bag with jewel detailing.

The pair were later snapped at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where Steenburgen switched up her look in a salmon-colored strapless gown with ruffle detailing and Danson went with all black.

Danson and Steenburgen first met in 1983 when he auditioned to play her spouse on Cross Creek. But it wasn't until 10 years later, on the set of Pontiac Moon, that their relationship turned romantic.

The couple wed in 1995 and have since starred in several projects together, including It Must Be Love and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Of how she and Danson spent their their 28th wedding anniversary, Steenburgen told PEOPLE last fall that it was pretty low-key.

"Knowing us, we just had a cozy evening at home and toasted each other with a glass of wine," the Academy Award winner recalled.

Danson told PEOPLE in 2021 that he wants "as long as possible in my life with Mary," adding, "I know it will have all of its hard parts but I want to experience love in all those moments."

His wife echoed the sentiment, telling PEOPLE in 2018 that she "would sign up for 100 more lifetimes" with Danson, as the Elf actress feels they were meant to be together.

"There's no hollow in my heart where I don't love him, or where I doubt this love," Steenburgen said. "There's no secret place where I say we weren't a thousand percent supposed to spend our life together."

Danson and Steenburgen have no children together, but he shares two daughters with ex-wife Casey Coates: Kate Danson, 44, and Alexis Danson, who was born in 1985.

Steenburgen, meanwhile, shares daughter Lilly Walton, 43, and son Charlie McDowell, 40, with ex-husband Malcolm McDowell.

The 96th Academy Awards aired live on ABC Sunday from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
