The cast of the new Fantastic Four movie is already working on their fantastic chemistry!

Ebon Moss-Bachrach (who is set to play Ben Grimm, a.ka. the Thing in the upcoming superhero flick) just revealed that he and his Fantastic Four castmates have a group chat — and it was started by none other than Pedro Pascal.

“Pedro started a group text a couple days ago,” Moss-Bachrach, 46, shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Saturday, over a week after the film's casting was announced.

Host Jimmy Kimmel then asked The Bear star — who was cast in the Marvel Studios project alongside Pascal, 48, Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn — if the chat has a “fun name.”

"I have his number, so it says Pedro Pascal, and then there’s two +44 numbers. I don’t know which one’s Vanessa and which one is Joseph,” the actor revealed.

And though he may not know who is speaking, the chat is active, Moss-Bachrach said.

“Everybody said something,” he told Kimmel, 56. “Everyone's put a little image or a sticker or, you know, a GIF or something out there. So people are invested, I guess.”

“No one’s being coy,” he joked.

Marvel announced the main cast of The Fantastic Four on Valentine’s Day with an illustration of the actors as their heroes, as well as a release date for the film: July 25, 2025.

"Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family!” the studio wrote on Instagram. “Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four.”

Moss-Bachrach also shared the news on his own Instagram, writing, “From our family to yours: HAPPY VALENTINE’S!!!”

The announcement followed months of reports that Pascal was in talks to star in the film as the superhero group’s leader, Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic.

Alongside Pascal’s Mister Fantastic and Moss-Bachrach’s the Thing, Oscar-nominee Kirby, 35, will star as Sue Storm, a.k.a. Invisible Woman, and Stranger Things star Quinn, 30, will play Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch.

This 2025 film is not the first time the heroes have moved from the comic page to the big screen. For two films in 2005 and 2007, the superheroes were portrayed by Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.

Then, a 2015 remake starred Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell as the titular group. Most recently, John Krasinski portrayed a parallel universe version of Reed Richards in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
