Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Shares Hilarious Throwback Photo of Her Daughters: ‘They Have Almost Forgiven Me'

Ree Drummond's daughters will always be her little angels.

The Pioneer Woman star, 54, posted an adorable Instagram post on Monday honoring Paige, 23, and Alex, 26. The first photo showed the two girls in a recent photo sitting next to each other at a restaurant, with big smiles and full wine glasses on the table in front of them.

The second photo, however, is an adorable blast from the past, as it was taken when Alex and Paige were babies. They're sitting in front of a celestial background wearing golden halos, and the foreground is filled with artificial cotton "clouds." The funniest part? Both girls are scowling.

"How it’s going vs. how it started," Ree captioned the post. "(They have almost forgiven me...)."

Ree is often showing her love for her kids. Earlier this month, she drove 16 hours to see her youngest son, Todd, 19, play football at the University of South Dakota.

“In this photo from last Saturday, I am displaying the classic goofy, dreamy, I-get-to-see-my-kid-for-two-whole-hours empty nest sad-but-happy mom smile. Let me know if you get it. (I love you, Todd.❤️)," she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.

Ree and husband Ladd are also parents to sons Bryce, 21, and foster son Jamar Goff, 21. The Drummonds welcomed Goff into their family in 2018. Ree wrote about the experience in her book, Frontier Follies.

"Fostering a kid was never something Ladd and I pursued or felt called to do, but Jamar's circumstances presented themselves to us in a way we couldn't ignore," she wrote. "Long story short, all six foot five inches of him showed up at our house one afternoon, bag in hand, ready to move in."

Ree made a heartfelt Instagram post for Goff in honor of his 21st birthday on Oct 7.

"With Jamar, there’s a whole universe going on in that mind and heart and soul of his," Ree wrote in the caption. "It’s a beautiful thing to behold. I can’t wait to watch his future unfold. I know it will be filled with good things. I love you, Jamar!! ❤️🥳,” she added.
