RHONY’s Jessel Taank Details ‘Wild’ Vacation Night Without Electricity As Hurricane Beryl Passed

Jessel Taank is sharing how her family made it through the hurricane in Jamaica.

The Real Housewives of New York City star, 41, documented her night on a family vacation as Hurricane Beryl passed by her resort. On her Instagram Story, Tank posted a video of strong winds and rain moving the palm trees outside.

“We’re sort of in the thick of it,” she said from behind the camera.

“Wild,” she added.

The next clip showed her three-year-old twin boys, Rio and Kai, running in circles in the hotel room as she laughed.

“Entertaining toddlers during a category 5 hurricane with no electricity 😳,” she wrote across the screen.

Five hours later, she revealed they still had not regained electricity, so she joked that they would all have cereal for dinner. 

The following morning, on July 4, Taank updated her followers with a photo of calmer skies.

“It’s over,” she wrote. “Thank you to the incredible staff @halfmoonjamaica for thinking through every detail and making sure we were all safe 🩵”

In April, the PR maven posted a photo celebrating a milestone in her sons’ lives to the Instagram she created for them. The sweet snap showed the boys — whom she shares with her husband Pavit Randhawa — sitting beside each other with their arms interlocked wearing matching button-up sweaters.

“Our first official school pic!! We look so nerdy and cute 🤓🥰,” the caption read.

"This is their first one ever; it's so good," the proud mom told PEOPLE exclusively. "We can't get them to stand still for more than 10 seconds!"

Despite being twins, Taank explained that Rio and Kai are developing unique personalities and traits as they get older.

"Kai has these beautiful hazel-green eyes. He's got light hair and I think he takes more after Pavit," she explains. "And Rio's got dimples to die for; I think he takes more after me - a little cheeky, a little naughty. They're starting to play with each other more, which is a huge relief because they would just ignore each other the first two years."

The twins first started preschool last fall, and they ended up attending the private school viewers of RHONY watched Taank and her husband debate over on season 14.

"They really love it," she revealed. "I think, with small kids, they want to constantly be entertained and be stimulated. As a parent, you can't always do that for them. So it is really nice that they have now a space where they're constantly being challenged. And learning and growing."
