Christine Brown is reflecting on how far she's come.

The Sister Wives star posted an encouraging Instagram Reel on Sunday, July 7, featuring a montage of pictures throughout the years set to Pink's song, "Courage". The first two images show Christine, 52, appearing sad. However, the rest of the pictures feature her smiling.

"Over the last few years, many people have reached out to me, looking for the courage to make a change. ❤️😭 ," she wrote. "Let this be the day that you step out into the uncomfortable, unfamiliar or even the scary. Change is scary. But we can do scary things. 💪❤️"

Christine also added the hashtags: "#empowered #makeachange #yougotthis #believeinyourself #positivechange"

Change is something Christine has become familiar with throughout the last few years. In November 2021, she and ex Kody Brown announced their split after 25 years of marriage. For over two decades, the pair had been in a polygamous marriage, with Kody, 55, also married to wives MeriJanelle and Robyn.

"After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave," Christine said in an Instagram statement at the time, which came after the couple experienced marital troubles.

A year later in December 2022, it was revealed that Kody had separated from his second wife Janelle. The end of Kody's union with his first wife, Meri, was later confirmed in January 2023, and Robyn is now Kody's only remaining wife.

Speaking about their breakup, Christine claimed that Kody "only wanted me to be positive" and "be fun," so she ultimately felt like she couldn't be herself. Once they decided to part ways, Christine felt a sense of relief, admitting, "I stopped focusing on him and I started focusing on me and my life and my kids. It was that day and I loved that day."

In 2022, Christine told PEOPLE she was no longer interested in a polygamous relationship but knew what she wanted out of her next partner. "I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately," she said at the time.

"The attraction needs to be there. There needs to be a mutual chemistry. But I love the idea of a romantic relationship, eventually. Adventurous would be great. Someone who just wants to try new things because now I'm into trying new things all the time. I just want to have fun all the time."

Since their split, Christine has found happiness again in her now-husband David Woolley. The pair went Instagram official in February 2023 and tied the knot in Utah last October.
