America Ferrera

America Ferrera is an American actress, producer and director. She is best known for playing Betty Suarez on ABC's Ugly Betty from 2006 to 2010 — for which she became the first Latinx woman to win an Emmy for leading actress in a comedy in 2007 — and as Amy Sosa on NBC's Superstore from 2015 to 2021. Ferrera also starred in Real Women Have Curves (2002), Lords of Dogtown (2005) and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies (2005 and 2008). She has lent her voice to the animated film and TV franchise How to Train Your Dragon.
