Bill Paxton

Bill Paxton was an American actor and filmmaker He first rose to fame for his role in the 1985 film, Weird Science. Some of his most notable films include Aliens (1986), Apollo 13 (1995), Twister (1996), Edge of Tomorrow (2014) and Nightcrawler (2014). He also starred on HBO's Big Love from 2006 to 2011. Paxton was also known for directing the films Frailty (2001), in which he also starred, and The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005). He died in February 2017 at the age of 61 due to complications from heart surgery.
