George Michael

George Michael was an English singer-songwriter. He rose to fame in 1984 as part of the pop duo Wham! and the release of their first hit single, "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go." Michael launched his solo career in 1987. His album Faith earned a Grammy Award for album of the year in 1989. Michael was also known for his involvement in organizations and children's charities devoted to HIV awareness.
