Mariska Hargitay

Mariska Hargitay is an American actress. She is most known for playing Detective Olivia Benson on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit since 1999, which earned her an Emmy and Golden Globe award. Hargitay has also appeared on TV series such as Downtown, Tequila and Bonetti, Can't Hurry Love and ER. In 2004, she founded the Joyful Heart Foundation, devoted to domestic violence and child abuse survivors.
