Padma Lakshmi

Padma Lakshmi is an Indian TV host, author, producer, model and activist. She rose to fame in 2006 as the host of Bravo's Top Chef, which has earned her 12 Emmy nominations. Lakshmi also hosted and produced Hulu's Taste the Nation in 2020. She is the author of several books, including 2007's Tangy Tart Hot and Sweet and 2016's Love, Loss and What We Ate. Lakshmi is an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) ambassador for women's and immigrants' rights.
