Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg is an American director, producer and screenwriter. He has directed a number of award-winning films, including Schindler's List (1993) and Saving Private Ryan (1998). His breakthrough project was Jaws (1995), which he directed. He also produced TV shows and movies that include The Mask of Zorro (1998) and Band of Brothers (2001). His writing credits include Poltergeist (1982) and The Goonies (1985). Spielberg founded Amblin Entertainment in 1981 and DreamWorks Pictures in 1994. He has won three Academy Awards, 12 Emmy Awards, and seven Golden Globe Awards. He's also known for partnering with composer John Williams on his films, and the two have worked together on nearly every single one of Spielberg's projects. Spielberg has been married twice and has seven children.
