Taylor Lautner’s wife Taylor shared that she “had a few little health scares over the past couple months” that she said “terrified” her.

On the latest episode of their podcast The Squeeze, Lautner, 27, said that her first scare took place a few months ago while showering, when “I felt this lump on my boob.”

“I kinda, like, paused for a second and was like, ‘Wait. What?’ And then I pressed on it again and started to feel it. And there was this hard lump there.”

“Very noticeable,” her husband, 32, added.

“I literally just stood in the shower and completely froze…I was literally thinking every single thought in the world.”

“And, of course, your mind goes to, you know, the worst,” the Twilight alum replied.

She shared that she’s had family and friends deal with breast cancer, and said she “immediately started bawling.”

“When you told me, I was terrified,” he said, ”but trying not to show you that I was terrified, because I don't want you any more worried than you were.”

She visited a breast center for an ultrasound, and said “everything was clear.”

“The tissue can just, like, move around hormonally. It can change,” she explained. ”It's still there to this day, and it hasn't gone away.”

“It's weird and scary because you can only feel it going from one direction,” her husband added. “It could have been there for who knows how long.”

"Everything is clear. Ladies, check this as your reminder to do the self-examination in the shower.," she said. "Breast cancer doesn't run in my family, but I've had a lot of cancer within my family, so I think that's why I was also very scared."

“It's also just important for people to know — as hard as it is —  to know that it is very normal for that to happen.,” he added.

Her next health scare, she said, began when she “found myself in a very depressive state.”

“I was not wanting to get out of bed — period,” she shared. ”I did not wanna work at all. I was just aimlessly scrolling, aimlessly watching Netflix. I was having really bad anxiety attacks.”

“I was just laying in bed and I couldn't move, and I was just crying. And [Taylor] came and just, like, laid with me.“

She figured out what was wrong — that she'd stopped taking her birth control pills after her regular doctor retired, leaving her without a current prescription.

“I'm like, ’Oh my gosh. I'm literally, like, withdrawing from this birth control because my hormones have been on this thing for ten years.’ “

“I'm just, like, freaking swinging like a pendulum,” she shared. “Once I've realized it, I slightly felt better about it [but] there was nothing I could do about it besides to figure out how to get back on my birth control.”

Verywell Health says "Post-birth control syndrome (PBCS) is a term some alternative medicine providers use for symptoms that can occur after stopping hormonal birth control. These often last weeks, sometimes months, and include acne, no menstrual periods, hair loss, and anxiety."

She reached out to the doctor who recommended her to do the breast center, and she shared “literally within minutes, I had an alert from CVS that the prescription had been filled.”

“That was my one positive from my lump ,” she shared. “That was able to help solve the problem.”

"We're lumpy, " she said, "but we're healthy."
