NFL Star Trevor Lawrence and Wife Marissa Reveal Sex of Baby with Ice Cream-Themed Party

It’s a girl!

Just over a week after announcing that they are expecting their first child together, NFL star Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa Lawrence have revealed that they are having a baby girl.

The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, July 6 — along with a behind-the-scenes look at their sweet (pun intended!) sex reveal party.

In the first photo from the ice cream-themed event, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, 24, and the event planner, 24, share a kiss in front of a pink cloud of smoke and a sign that reads, “What’s the scoop?”

Elsewhere in the post, the couple swapped the smoke for sauce, drizzling pink liquid out of chocolate syrup bottles on a faux ice cream cone as part of the reveal. “Our sweet girl,” Marissa wrote alongside a photo of the cone on her Instagram Stories.

"Baby girl 🩷🎀,” she added in the caption. “Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you!!”

Also on her Instagram Stories, Marissa wrote that Trevor is going to “be the best girl dad” — “I can't handle it” — and shared some more details about the poolside bash.

The party — which was organized by Love, Gigi Event Design — also included a wall of glasses filled with sundae toppings, a charcuterie bar and, of course, several ice cream flavors, from turtle to “cotton candy explosion.”

Another sweet detail? Custom wooden ice cream spoons that read, “Baby Lawrence.”

Finally, Marissa wrapped up her "recap" of the special celebration with a sweet message. “We are so grateful for our family and friends,” she wrote. “This whole weekend was so special just getting to hang out and be together. It was perfect and everything we needed!!”

Also in the message, she revealed that the couple “found out about baby girl” ahead of the party, and “it was soooo fun getting to surprise everyone.”

"She is going to be so spoiled,” she added.

Trevor and Marissa, who tied the knot in 2021, first shared their pregnancy news on Instagram last month.

Alongside a photo of the high school sweethearts posing with a strip of sonogram photos — and showing off Marissa’s growing baby bump — the caption read, "A little Lawrence on the way 🤍.”
